Dissident suspects are arrested

Irish police investigating dissident republican activity have arrested three County Wexford men in the village of Ballycogley.

It is believed gardai found a pipe bomb at the scene of the arrests which has been made safe by Irish army bomb disposal experts.

It is believed the investigation is connected to the Continuity IRA.

The three men can be questioned for up to 72 hours before they are either charged or released.
