Flats searched over Devlin murder

Police investigating the murder of a schoolboy in north Belfast last year are carrying out searches in the area for the second time this week.

Thomas Devlin, 15, died after being stabbed five times as he and two friends walked along Somerton Road on 10 August.

The searches are taking place at empty flats in the Mount Vernon district.

On Tuesday, police searched the same area and took away several items for scientific examination.

In September, the PSNI confirmed the prime suspects in the inquiry were two young men with a black and white dog.
